President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital, in response to a request from the Nasarawa State Government.

This change aims to enhance medical training and improve healthcare delivery in the state.

The new designation will help train students in medical and allied sciences while advancing the quality of healthcare services.

President Tinubu is dedicated to advancing the social welfare and healthcare of Nigerians and will continue to support investment in these sectors.

The announcement was made by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), in Abuja on Wednesday.
