Journalists in kogi state on Friday converged at the State Ministry of Education mosque, Lokoja as part of activities marking their 2024 press week.

They were led by their chairman, Alhaji Seidu Adamu Haruna and some members of his Exco.

At the occasion, the cleric urged journalists to shun corruption and pursue righteous activities.

“Allah does not love corrupt people and corruption,if you die,the only thing that will follow you is good deeds,”he told the journalists.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guard and less journalists and their families as they disseminate useful information to the society.

The cleric also prayed for the Governor of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his cabinet as they continue to pilot the ship of the state.
