In a bid  to reduce the cuurent economic hardship being faced by Nigerians, the Taraba state branch of deeper life bible church on Sunday distributed food items and cash to the less privilege in the state.

The Taraba state overseer of the church,  Pastor Samuel Omajali while answering questions from newsmen at the end of combined service to thank God over the just concluded global crusade held by the general overseer of the church, Pastor W.F Kumuye in Wukari expressed worried over the difficult situation citizens are going through.

“As we all know, prices of food items and other commodities have been on the rise and they’s no even money for people to eat their three square meals.

Therefore as a Church,  we can’t seat in our comfort zone and  watch those in need to suffer,  that is why we chose to put our resources togather to improve on lives” he said.

He noted that the high cost of living has made life unbearable for the poor,  adding that government must urgently take measures to stem the tide.

According to him,  the distribution of the cash and food items would go across to widows and orphans respectively.

Omajali who said that God used Pastor W.F Kumuye to heal many during the Wukari global crusade hinted that millions of people testified over the wonders of God over their lives.

He urged other members of the church who were more privileged to also extend similar gesture to some congregants and those in need around them.
