Don’t end Sallah celebration in beer palour, cleric admonishes Muslims.

Muslims in Kogi state and elsewhere in Nigeria have been admonished to adhere strictly to observation of Sallah celebration instead of indulging in social activities prohibited in Islam.
Mal. Musa Bello gave the warning on Wednesday at the special two rakats(special special)at Gadumo praying ground marking the end of 2024 Ramadan.

According to him, the experience of the 30-day Ramadan is meant to strengthen the belief of the Muslims in following the tenants and principles of Islam, adding that they are expected to deploy their experience gained during the to enhance their daily interactions with other members of the public to boost peace.
“Rather than moving to the beer parlor, Muslims,who are in this habit should celebrate in reflecting on how to improve on the material condition of the people and better the society,”he said.
He condemned some Muslims who, immediately they leave prayer ground end in beer parlour and other social activities celebrating the event , reminding this class of Muslims that such act is considered as anti-Islam.

He called on Muslims noted for spending hours praying and reciting Quran in the mosque and extorting people to check their action , adding that Islam enjoin them to engage in viable economic activities to fend for their families.

Mal. Musa urged the Muslims to their benevolent efforts for the of others , especially the less privileged, assuring them that they would rewarded on the day of judgement.

He prayed for peace in Kogi state and Nigeria at large, as well as the leadership of the country.

Our correspondent reports that the event provided opportunity for Muslims,who turned for the special prayer exchange pleasantries and share examples among other interactions.
