For more than one week that the 4th Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo kabir Maikarfi was installed by the immediate past Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello,his palace has continued to be a mecca of people from all walks of life trooping, enthusiastically, to felicitatate with him over his appointment.
Above pictures show the Maigari, members of ABU Alumni Association and group of hunters among many strata of the society who came to rejoice with the first class traditional ruler.
Among the associations that graced with colourful event on Sunday was the ABU Alumni Association Kogi State branch,led by its president, Engr.Mohammed Sagir, his executive and other members.
The Secretary general of the association, world wide,Dr.danjuma Mahmud also attended the occasion.
The highly elated Maigari thanked the association for the gift and commended the members for their efforts in the state.
Earlier, the chairman of the association had prayed for the peaceful reign of the Royal Father and expressed the joy of his members over his appointment.
Highlight of the association’s visit to the Royal Father was the presentation of roll-up banner to him,showing his portrait.
