As the people of Osun state, south west Nigeria, are mourning the killing of an APC Chieftain in Ejibgo,Dr. Richard Idowu, those of Ekiti state of the same region of the country have also lost two of their first class traditional rulers to suspected kidnappers.
Our correspondent gathered that the two traditional rulers were killed in an ambush on Irele-Oke Ako road in Ikole Local Government Area of the state as the worsening security situation in that State reached worrisome dimension on Monday.
The gunmen men,yet to be identified, were said to have hit dead Oba Olumojo of Imojo Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola and the Elesun of Esun Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsola.

The Reporters further learnt that the third traditional ruler, Oba Alara of Ara Ekiti,, Oba Adebayo Fatoba, however, narrowly escaped being killed by the kidnappers.
Sources said that the traditional rulers met their gruesome death while coming from a meeting, adding that the  gunmen opened fire on them, killing two instantly.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Ekiti state, Biodun Oyebanji, has ordered the fishing out of the suspects in the state for them to face justice.
