POS operator loses N600,000 to syndicate in Kogi.

Fear has gripped operators of Point of Sale(POS) in Lokoja, Kogi State,north central Nigeria,on Tuesday as syndicate that specializes in duping this type of business owners swooped on one of them and duped her of the sum of N600,000.
Our correspondent gathered that two young men approached the PoS operator,a lady, at Zone 8, Lokoja with the pretext that they wanted to make cash withdrawal and in the process,took her N600,000.
Another POS operator around marine area also in Lokoja was said to have lost N76,000 to these criminals through tricks by them last week Friday.
Reacting to the issue in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Lokoja, the Police Public Relations Officer,PPRO, for the Police Command in the state,SP. William Ovie Aya, said the command had not received such report.
He, however,advised victims of such criminal activities to report to the police, immediately, for prompt action.
