Comrade Segun Medupin has expressed delight for and thanks to the governor of kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for appointing Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim ( A.K.A Slake) as the Caretaker Chairman, Ijumu Local government area of Kogi state.
In a statement he sent to The Reporters on Wednesday in Lokoja,Comrade,Medupin, who described himself as an “illustrious son of Ogidi-ijumu, a senior management staff of AEDC plc and a foremost unionist in the electricity industry,” also felicitated with Slake on his new appointment.
“We thank Governor Yahaya Bello for giving us the gift of Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, who is a round peg in a round hole,” he said.
The comrade congratulated the Ologidi of Ogidi-ijumu Alhaji Rabiu Sule (the eseyin mogede1), sons and daughters of Ogidi-ijumu, and enjoined them to rally round the new caretaker chairman to enable achieve the desired success.
He prayed that Alhaji Ibrahim’s tenure would bring the needed development and succour to the people of ijumu land.
