Members of Ebira Avaibe Association, EAA, kogi state, have commended the governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for his tremendous support for the victory of All Progressives Congress , APC, and its candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the November 11,2023 Governorship election in the state.
This is one of the resolutions members reached during their meeting on Sunday at Gadumo, a suburb of Lokoja.
Members also commended the electorate, particularly those of them from central and west senator districts of the state for the same success story of APC and Ododo during the election.
According to them, the last governorship election in the state had further reinforced the unity of purpose among the egbira extraction that lacked in the previous election.
Our correspondent reports that Ododo comes from Kogi Central Senatorial district of the state.
They, however, advised the incoming governor to factor in his administration, the services of the elderly with impeccable track record of achievement in private and public life, coupled with experience, in his administration as well.
Members added that the utilisation of the wealth of experience of the elderly in governance would go along way to boost the success of Ododo’s administration.
The association prayed for the success of Ododo’s government to enable him and his lieutenants consolidate on the achievements of the outing-government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello and improve on the material condition of kogites.
Highlight at the meeting was light entertainment by members with soft drinks to mark the victory of Ododo.
