FG boosts agric.in kogi,empowers farmers with grinding machines.

The Federal Government has empowered over fifteen farmers with Grinding machines to boost their livelihood in the state.
The presentation of the empowerment was done through the Kogi State Agricultural Development Project by the representative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture in the Department of Rural Development, Alhaji Halilu Biringina Kulani in Lokoja.
The beneficiaries of the Agriculture input were drawn from the three Senatorial Districts of the state.
Presenting the grading mechines to the beneficiaries , the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture from Abuja, Alhaji Halilu Biringina Kolani said the present administration under President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Agriculture would continue to lived up to expectations by providing necessary Agriculture input to farmers to boost Agriculture production .
Alhaji Halilu Biringina Kolani urged the beneficiaries of the grinding mechines to put into proper use to enable the government do more for the citizens.
He reiterated the commitment of Federal Government determination to provide food sufficient to make lives more meaningful to the people in the country.
In a remark, the Managing Director Agricultural Development Project, Prince George Bello Ogirima advised the beneficiaries to protect the machines from Vandal given to them by the Federal Government.
Prince Ogirima said the state government would not leave any stone unturned to continue to encourage farmers to boost food production in the state.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for ensuring food security, most especially the production of Rice, Cassava, Yams, Cashew among others in the cluster areas of the state.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Madam Awal Abdulkadir, thanked the state and federal governments for empowering farmers and promised that the beneficiaries would utilize the machine to improve their livelihood.
