Police in Imo recover teenager kidnapped in kogi

The Police Command in Imo state says it has found a young girl named KHADIZAT LABRAN(16), dark in complexion, 4ft tall, has no tribal marks and speaks pigin english fluently.

ASP HENRY OKOYE, POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER FOR COMMISSIONER OF POLICE,PPRO,IMO STATE COMMAND, disclosed this in a statement in Owerri and made available a copy to The Reporters on Wednesday.

Okoye said:”She was rescued by a Good Samaritan on 25/07/2023, who saw her wandering about along the road within Nkwerre and subsequently took her to Nkwerre Police Station.

“She claims to hail from Lokoja in Kogi State and also stated that she was abducted by unknown men at Ganaja Junction in Lokoja, who blind folded her and took her to a bush before she eventually escaped.

The PPRO urged members of the public who know the young girl or her parents to call the Police Public Relations Departments, Owerri on 08148024755 and assist in reuniting her to her parents.
