The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Kwara State Chapter, Right Bishop Sunday Adewole, has called on Nigerians to be prayerful and work for the progress of the Nation as we celebrate Christmas.

Bishop Adewole,who is the Bishop of Anglican Diocese Kwara Communion, also advised Christians to participate actively in the 2023 general electíons, next year, to elect credible leaders to move the Nation to greater heights.

In a statement issued by the Secretary of the Association, Barrister Apostle Shina Ibiyemi, the Cleric noted that the Country was destined to be great calling on all to embrace peace and tranquility to achieve the necessary development.

He called on government at all levels to make the welfare of the people their watchword as hunger is seriously affecting Nigerians.

Bishop Adewole who explained that security of the Nation calls for concern advised government and the security agencies to be alive to their responsibilities to make the Nation a safe place to stay and live in.
