Kidnappers demand N30m ransom to free kogi enterprenuer

Kidnappers that abducted the owner of popular Cheapest Kiddies supermarket in Lokoja, Kogi State,Mrs Funke Ayodele, have called family of their victim, demanding for N30 million before they could set her free.

The Reporters gathered that
Ayodele, an industrious female entrepreneur, was kidnapped in front of her residence around Old Poly Quarters,Lokoja at 9.a.m Wednesday night.

The Kidnappers were said to have trailed her from her shop located at Lokongoma Housing Eastate Phase II area in Lokoja to perfect their crime.

A family source who spoke to Journalists on the condition of anonymity, she the female enterprenuer was accosted at the gate of her house by four armed men while returning from her shop and was about to enter her compound..

The source said that the Kidnappers dragged her out from her car and disappeared into thin air.

The source added that the abductors later called the family of their victim on Thursday and demanded for N30 million ransom for them to release Ayodele.

The Police Public Relations Officer ,PPRO, for the Police Command in the state,SP William Ovye Aya,who confirmed the story in an interview with our Correspondent in Lokoja on Friday,said the police had stepped into matter to secure Ayodele’s release unhurt.

According to him, the command had also commenced the search for the Kidnappers with a view to bringing them to Justice.
