Kogi PwD member seeks royal blessing to ensure electoral victory

The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate in the forthcoming Kogi State House of Assembly electíon, Mr Emma Aduku, has approached the Attah Igala,His Royal Majesty Matthew Opaluwa Oguche, for prayer and royal blessing to ensure his electoral victory.

He said he was also at the Attah Igala’s palace in Idah to notify the royal father of his recent victory at the primary election.

Aduku, who is a member of the People with disabilities (PwDs) in kogi state,promised His Royal Majesty of quality representation for his Ankpa 1 Constituency in Ankpa Local Governnent Area of the state, more especially for his colleagues in PwDs.

He called on APC members in his Constituency and the state at large to team up for the victory of the party in elections ahead.

Receiving Aduku, the Attah Igala commended his dogged determination to make meaningful contribution towards the political development of the state and bring dividends of democracy to the people of his Constituency,in spite of his physical challenge.

The traditional ruler,who prayed and blessed Aduku, also commended the governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaha Bello, for helping Aduku to realise his polical ambition.

He described Bello “as a man truly sent by God to librate the opperessor from captivity.

“It is the first of its kind in the state for a person with disability to have a nomination from the Governor to contest State Assembly electíon.

” The Governor is a man that believes in women,youths and people with disabilities,” the royal father noted.
