Muslim faithful, any where they may in the world, have been advised to extend hands of fellowship to the less privileged in the society for the sake of Almighty Allah’s reward.
Malam Musa Bello, gave the advice in his sermon to the congregation of muslims who converged at LGEA school field, Gadumo to mark this year Eid adha.
He said: “There are many who cannot buy ram this year not to talk slaughter. It behooves on the muslims that Almighty Allah gives resources and good health to buy and slaughter to share part of the meat to the needy, to earn Allah’s blessing.
“If you cannot share meat with fellowship muslims on this special occasion,at least, you can share soft drinks, rice among others with them.
The religious leader reminded the affluence among the muslim community that the position they occupy today remained a prayer point for others, adding they should remember the less privileged in riches.
He called on the less privileged to be contented, but pray for better days and always think positive about others in life.
“If you think that you don’t have money to buy new clothes to celebrate this festival, think of those who are in.the hospital or even dead.
“Whatever challenge confronting you is new, it has happened to many and it will end with you. Be closer to Almighty Allah in deeds and prayers and He will answer your prayer.
Bello also called on the muslims to be exemplary in leadership, especially politicians among others.
