Delegates in today’s People’s Democratic party primary have been told not to allow fake
promises by one of the House of Reps aspirants of gifting a motorcycle to them sway them from voting the right candidate

In a press statement signed by Okun PDP Concerned Leaders and made available to newsmen , it said one of the aspirants from ijumu in collaboration with a serving National Assembly member has devised a subterfuge aimed at getting the attention of the delegates to sway their vote s for the aspirant

The statement said the gimmick was the putting a set of motorcycles on the social media to cajole the unsuspecting delegates to vote for the aspirant so as to be given the motorcycles in return as compensation.

It said the motorcycles in question were the ones given by the Federal Government through SMEDAN as constituency empowerment items allocated to the said National Assembly member which he is currently using as bait to get the attention of the delegates.

The spokesman of the group, Chief Gabriel kayode Ojumoro further said, the motorcycles were only been advertised in the social media and will NEVER be given to any delegates but just meant to deceive them in getting their votes saying the same trick will also be used in the coming days when the senatorial primary will take place.

The statement therefore advise the delegates not to allow anyone to deceive them but vote according to their conscience.
