Ahead of Nigeria’s Presidential Poll 2023, the youngest, yet described my many politicians as the most vibrant Presidential Aspirant on the platform of the Labour Party(LP), Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, has picked the party nomination form.

The National Secretary of Fadojoe Campaign organization, Rotimi Daniels, who disclosed this in a statement,a copy of which is made available to The Reporters on Saturday said the historic and great event took place in Benin City, the Edo State Capital on Friday, in the presence of party stakeholders and supporters.

“All is now set for the race into 2023 elections by the second most vibrant opposition group in Nigeria under what it tagged, Rescue 2023, Yes we can and Yes we will.

“Mr. Faduri uses this medium to thank all Nigerians both at home and in diaspora for their continued support, donations and prayers towards the rescuing of our dear nation, Nigeria.

“As the first hurdle has been crossed, we must continue to support the rescue agenda for our dear country and we must join hands to make it happen”,he said.

Meanwhile,Nigerians are yet to hear the final word from the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) and the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,as at the time of this report regarding the issue of zoning of their presidential tickets.

The National Chairman of APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, told the nation that his party had not taken decision on the issue, while PDP maintains silence but its committee has screened at least, 17 aspirants drawn from across the country, yesterday.

The PDP whose screening committee, headed by former Senate President David Mark, cleared 15 of the aspirants and disqualified two.

Some members of the public who spoke with our Correspondent in Lokoja said that what mattered to them was not where the pendulum would swing, as far as zoning is concerned.
