Police launch man-hunt to recover kidnapped Lokoja-based business woman

The Intelligence and Quick response units of the Police Command in kogi state, among other security outfits, have commenced man-hunt to secure the release of Mrs Ugochukwu Okpala,a prominent businesswoman in Lokoja, who kidnapped on Friday in Lokoja.

Our Correspondent reports that the Kidnappers stormed the premises of the Seat of Wisdom Supermarket, owned by her and kidnapped her to unknown destination shortly after she closed for the day’s business on Gadumo-Ganaja road, Lokoja, Kogi State.

The Police Public Relations Officer( PPRO) for the Police Command in the state, DSP. William Aya, disclosed this to the Correspondent of The Reporters in Lokoja on Saturday in a telephone interview.

The online publication gathered that the kidnappers abandoned Okpala’s car and drove her off in their car.

Sources added that Okpala was about to enter her car at the end of business for the day when the Kidnappers accosted her and bundled her into their car, and disappeared into thin air.
