By Dada Ahmed.

The Police Command in Kwara state says it has arrested three suspects in connection with the Tuesday crisis that erupted at Isale Jagun and Kuntu areas of Adewole in Ilorin, the state capital.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Police Command,SP, Ajayi Okasanmi, disclosed this in a telephone interview with the Correspondent of The Reporters from Ilorin on Tuesday.

According to him, one sustained injury, adding that he has been receiving treatment in one of the hospitals in the area.

The online publication recalls that the areas affected witnessed uneasy calm between 12 mid night of Monday and Tuesday morning when some youths indulged in an unruly behaviour, destroying cars and other valuable properties without clear cut reason known to our Correspondent as at the time of this report.

However, one source said the crisis was ignited by some youths fighting over girl friend while others read political meaning to it.

Earlier in a statement from the command, Okasanmi disclosed that the Commissioner in charge of the command,CP Tuesday Assayomo, had ordered investigation into the matter, with a view to getting to the root cause(s) and bring perpetrators to justice.

The PPRO, who said that peace had returned to the troubled areas, qouted his boss as advising parents and guardians to check the conduct of their children and wards against breaching peace in the state.
