By Correspondent in Lokoja.

Alhaji Yahaha Adam has emerged the second indigene of Kogi State to be appointed as the General Manager, Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Lokoja, Kogi State 30 years after the establishment of the federal government media establishment.

The Reporters reliably gathered that the first indigene of the state to occupy such position at NTA, Lokoja was Mrs Vicky Olumudi but her tenure was briefly.

Reliable sources at NTA revealed that Adam, who took over from Abdrasheed Ibrahim, was until his new assignment Assistant Director, News/ Current Affairs at the NTA, Zonal headquarters, Kaduna.

The new General Manager started his journalism career at NTA, Lokoja, shortly after his national service with Graphic Newspaper in Lokoja.

At NTA, he covered many beats and proved his journalistic prowess in the discharge of his duty for many years before being transferred to Kaduna some years ago.

Hopes are high among citizens of the state that Adam will use his wealth of experience and familiarity with the terrain of NTA, Lokoja to turn around the fortune of the media establishment for the better.
