Pastor John Oseluolemen.

Kings and the Heads of government, who failed to provide the expected good governance and exemplary leadership directions for their people, will have questions to answer before God in 2022,if they don’t amend their leadership style.

In the same token, Ministers of the Gospel found wanting in the ways of God would also be called to question.

The General Overseer, Assurance of Faith Gospel Ministries lntl., Pastor John Oseluolemen,Mararaba, who gave the admonition in his new year message in Mararaba however declared 2022 as a year of Re-building Nigeria and one that God would do great things for the country.

Pastor Oseluolemen, whose New Year message is entitled ” The mind of God for Nigeria in 2022″ to the congregation during the Cross Over Night vigil on 31st December in the church’s auditorium at Marabba, Abuja, called on Nigeria to get closer to God in their relationship with Him.

He explained that “God’s plans for the country is very critical”,stressing that it is a year that God will begin the process of restructuring all things that had been destroyed in Nigeria.

These he said include: mass killings of innocent people, destruction of religious worship centres by bandits, mis- management of the economy and corruption among others.

The cleric said that “Nigeria is a God’s project, adding that God has designed it to be a “Liberating Power House” for African continent and the World at large through the preaching of the Gospel of good news”.

Pastor Oseluolemen, who cited some relevant biblical quotations – 1 Chronicles, Chapters 22 verses 1-19 and Genesis 22,1- 19 to buttress his points, insisted that God would raise a “Solomon” to build the House called Nigeria.

According to him, God will be hard on the leaders in 2022 especially the rulers, the Kings and the Heads of government, who failed to provide the expected good governance and exemplary leadership directions for their people, adding that the Ministers of the Gospel who are found wanting in the ways of God would also be called to question.

The pastor disclosed that 2022 will be a year of reward for those who were obedient to God’s commandments and also have His fears in their hearts, Micah 6:8.

The General Overseer, who ushered members of his congregation to New New year therefore called on the God- fearing Nigerians to pray fervently that the will and plans of God for our Nation in 2022 are not subverted by the kingdom of darkness and it’s cohorts.
