Inculcate Quranic/ Islamic knowledge in children, cleric advises parents

Muslim parents have been advised to inculcate Quranic/Islamic knowledge into their children for better understanding of Islamic religion and put such children on the path of moral upbringing.

Sheikh Muhammad Qasim gave the advice during the Quranic graduation ceremony of Usman Yusuf Yahuza and Sakinat Ibrahim Alfa at madarasatul Nur Lita’alimatul Quran wa tarbiyatul Islam in Lokoja.

He noted that believing and learning the Quran remained a compulsory act for all muslims, urging them to give preference to their children learning Qur’an over all worldly affairs.

The Islamic cleric,who said the Holy Quran also helped in broadening the children intelligence academically, f advised the graduates to continue learning the quran, adding that “it is a lift process”, describing learning of the Holy Quran as a lift time journey.

Contributing, Ustaz Hussein Shaibu expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for making the maiden Quranic graduation successful.

Ustaz Shaibu advised Muslim parents to double efforts at ensuring that their children record more success in acquiring quranic knowledge.

The graduates; Usman Yusuf Yahuza and Sakinat Ibrahim, in their separate remarks, thanked their Islamic teachers and parents for their contributions towards their journey of Quran.
