Governor Yahaha Bello of Kogi State has promised criminals raw deal for their crime against innocent residents in the state, saying that those of them that perpectuate heinous acts in the area will not leave the state alive.
The Governor gave the stern warning when he received the Chairman, Yagba West Local Government Area, Pius Kolawole, who briefed him on the success achieved in the arrest and killings of some of the armed robbers that attacked Egbe and Odo Ere Communities recently.
Bello, in a video during the visit, said the State “is not a Haven for Criminals as anyone caught will face the weight of the law.”
He maintained that his administration would collaborate with security agencies to flush out criminal minded people out of the state.
The governor commended the doggedness of the Local Government Chairman, saying he had demonstrated braveness and capacity.
