He said the institution, in collaboration with security agencies and local vigilante, had put in place adequate security measures to ensure security of staff and students.

” The Management has been able to maintain peace over the years with the assistance of security agencies such as the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Vigilante etc. However, huge sum of fund is required to maintain this relative peace,”he said.

He also highlighted some of the achievements recorded in two years of his administration to include staff welfare, Kwarapoly Microfinance bank, renovation of hostels, resuscitation of IJMB, acquisition of radio licence, sustenance of peaceful co-existence on the campus among others.

Others,he added are: provision of office furniture, renovation of staff quarters, water supply, installation of solar powered light, provision of WIFI for internet connectivity, bottled/sachet water project, polytechnic bakery/block industry, construction of horticultural garden/ renovation of roads.
