Missing Vanguard Journalist dies

Mr Tordue Henry Salem, the Vanguard Correspondent covering the National Assembly, who was declared missing about a month ago, was on Thursday found dead in Abuja.

Details of the discovery of his remains remained unclear as at the time of this repo

The Reporters, however, recalls that Journalists in Abuja on, October 25, trooped to the Nigeria Police Force’s headquarters in Abuja in peaceful protest over Salem’s sudden disappearance and were told that the police were on top of the issue to ensure of Salem returned alive.

The Speaker, House of Representatives,Femi Gbajabiamila,who also spoke on the disappearance of the Vanguard Correspondent said the House was not sleeping on the issue, adding that it was collaborating with relevant security agencies to recover Salem in safe condition.
