Seasoned Journalist emerges traditional ruler in Ondo

Retired Deputy Editor-in-Chief, News Agency of Nigeria(NAB), Chief Micheal Omolade was recently installed as the new Olugbeji of Igbejiland in Akure South Local Governmebt Area of Ondo state by the Deji of Akure,Oba Aladelusi Adetoyinbo Odundun II.

Above is the new traditional ruler in his regalia.

Alhaji, D U Ahmed, the MD/EIC, The Reporters,an online publication,who is also a colleague of the new monarch then NAN, on behalf of the management of the online publication, congratulated the new traditional ruler and wished him well, in a statement he signed on Monday in Lokoja.

 

“My dear colleague in Journalism and now the Olugbeji of Igbejiland, Chief Micheal Omolade, I am extremely happy to learn of the great leap in your life and that of your community.

 

“Kabiyesi,I wish you long life,more prosperity and the best in your new role,as a traditional ruler, to better the lot of your subjects and contribute your qota to the advancement of the traditional institution in Ondo State in general, ” Ahmed said.
