By Gbegbe Sunday/Goodluck Ikiebe.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam, has called on Christian Faithful in Nigeria to be of sound mind and good courage when faced with great challenges, even in times of crisis.

He gave the charge in a message he delivered to members of Assembly of God, Northern Nigeria, Mangu District, during a Sensitization and Awareness Programme, held at Assembly of God Church, Daika, Mangu Local Governnent Area of Plateau State on Saturday.

Rev. Pam affirmed that “the Lord is with the Church and he will never leave his own.”

He further encouraged the members of the Assembly of God, Mangu District, to be strong and steadfast in their faith, adding that the crisis facing them, now, “will tarry for a while and they will be victorious.”

NCPC boss disclosed that he had come to strengthen and encourage them, saying there was nothing too hard for God to do, adding that “there’s nothing He cannot change”.

He further charged the members of the Church not to fear but rather embrace God, stressing,”the Lord does all things right at His own time”.

Earlier, Rev. Mechach Enoch of the Assembly of God, Northern Nigeria, (AGNN) Mangu District, in his address of welcome, thanked Rev.Yakubu Pam,who is also the General Superintendent of Assembly of God, Northern Nigeria, for honouring their invitation.

He said the purpose of the Sensitization and Awareness Programme was to clear doubts about the propaganda going on in the district and beyond, as regards to Assembly of God Northern Nigeria.

According to him, the true picture would be unveiled.

Rev.Mechach opined that the Assembly of God Northern Nigeria was not a party to ruin the Church but rather, a solution to the prolonged crisis, which has lasted for eight years.

He urged his fellow members “not to fear, never deflate nor quit because the will of God would prevail and they will be victorious. Just like the red sea parted for the Israelites, so shall they also reach their promise land”, he assured.

He added, “Forward ever, back ward never, stand still and see what the Lord will do for you. Anything that has a beginning must have an end, after the storm comes calm”, Mechach.”
