Multiple road accident claims 3 in Kwara,1 hospitalised

Three people have lost their lives in a fatal multiple accident on Ilorin-Ogbomoso expressway o
Saturday in Kwara State.

A Correspondent of The Reporters in Ilorin gathered that the auto accident occurred at Otte community in the Asa Local Governnent Area of the state at about 6:00 a.m as a result of speed limit violation.

Sources told the online publication that four persons were involved in the accident, adding that while three died on the spot, due to impact of the accident, one survived with high degree of fracture and head injury bruises.

The Reporters further learnt that the auto crash involved two vehicles-a private Toyota Corolla car in black colour and a commerical Mitsubishi pick up van in white colour.

The Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state, Jonathan Owoade, who confirmed the incident, said that the dead had been taken to the state general hospital, Ilorin, and their corpses deposited at the hospital.

He advised drivers to eschew speed and other negative behaviour,on the wheel, that could cause accident on road.
