The Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) has extended date for opening and submission of both technical and financial bid documents for projects captured in the 2021 Capital Projects Expenditure to August 30.
Prof. Adesoji Adesugba said the extension was to give room to a robust and all-inclusive process that engendered probity, transparency and Due Process in a statement signed in Abuja by Mr Martin Ode,Head, Corporate Communications, NEPZA and made a copy available to The Reporters on Friday
“Please refer to our publication of Monday 5th July, 2021 titled Invitation to Tender for Execution of Year 2021 Capital Projects in the Federal Tenders Journal, Daily Trust and the Nation Newspapers.
“The Authority wishes to inform the public that the date for the Opening and Submission of the Bid Documents has been extended by Two (2) weeks from 16th August, 2021 to 30th August, 2021.
“The extension is informed by the need for more participation in the process. The era when such exercises were carried out secretly is over. We are also aware of the hectic times prospective bidders face in trying to be part of the process’’, Adesugba said.
