Resumed Ganaja road rehabilitation continues on Sunday—The Reporters

Resumption of work on Ganaja road, which was abandoned for about two months ago, progressed on Sunday with more earth moving equipment rolled to the road by the contractors handling the rehabilitation work, according to The Reporters.

Our Correspondent who has been monitoring development on the road since federal government flagged-off rehabilitation of the road November 2020, reports on Sunday that, engineers were sighted directing supervising the laying of asphalt on the road.

Our Correspondent further reports that the engineers have blocked one lanes from Gadumo to the 200 unit axis of the road to speed up work.

One of the engineers,who spoke with the online news platform on the condition of anonymity, regretted the inconviences the delay in completing the rehabilitation, a development the noted was beyond the capacity of the company handling the work.

“Now that we have resumed work,we shall speed up the completion of the rehabilitation for motorists and other road users to enjoy motorable again,”he promised.

Some motorists, who expressed feelings on the resumption of work on the road,in separate interview with the online publication in Gadumo, described the resumption of work on the road as a ray of home that very soon, Ganaja road would become motorable and out pay the inconveniences of plying the road.
