The remains of a young woman was on Thursday found dumped on Kanikoko area of Kaiama, Kwara North senatorial district with her vagina and breasts removed.
The henious crime was said to have been carried out by suspected ritualists in the area.
The Public Relations Officer for the the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), kwara state Command, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, disclosed this on Friday in Ilorin.
He said: “On Thursday, 10th of June, 2021 at about 12:30hrs , one Hassana Mohammed (f) of yarugaba compound, Kaiama was murdered and her dead body dumped along kanikoko road Kaiama by some suspected ritualists.
“The deceased was not found at home and she was not picking her phone.
”
“Security agencies were alerted and the vigilantes, on search of the girl,found dead along kanikoko road Kaiama”
“Upon medical examination,it was discovered that,her vagina and brests were removed by suspected ritualists.
“She was buried on Friday morning, after necessary examination while investigation is on going to unravel the perpetrators.”
