NBC: Idachaba out, Ilelah in

President Muhammadu Buhari has relieved the acting Director-General, National Broadcasting Commission,(NBC),Prof. armstrong Idachaba of his appointment and replaced him with a veteran broadcaster, Mr Balarabe Shehu Ilelah,

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the disclosure in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by his media aide, Mr Segun Adeyemi.

The Reporters recalls that Idachaba was appointed to head the organisation in acting capacity, February 2020,following the suspension of Moddibo Kawu as the DG of NBC.

According to the minister, the appointment Ilelah for five years in the first instance.
