Foundation rewards police traffic officer in kogi

GYB/CEDO Ebigo Foundation,based in Lokoja,has presented a popular police traffic warden in Lokoja, kogi state,Inspector Mercy Onoja with a brand new car for being hard working in the discharge of her official responsibility.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, (DCPA) Adekunle Olusekun who stood in for the Commissioner of Police Kogi State. handed over to Onoja at the police command Headquarters in Lokoja.

The Reporters recalls that Inspector Onoja, who was also recognised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi state council, many years ago,is a delightful officer.

She exibits unique dexterity in controlling traffic, especially with the use of legs and hands, coupled with smiles to the admiration of motorists, motorcyclists, tricycle operators and other road users, some of who appreciate her with gestures.

Abdulslimzy Maiyaki,Programne manager, GYB/CEDO Ebigo Foundation, in a statement in Lokoja said that Mr Sunday Faleke, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the state Deputy Govenor, Chief Edward Onoja and the Police Public Relations officer (PRO) for the Police Command in the state, DSP Ovye William Aya witnessed the occasion.
