Christians have been told to rededicate their life as only sure way of being at peace with their creator and resist the temptation of combining serving God and mammon as doing so would amount to endangering their lives and that of entire generation.

Many Christians today deviated from true worship of God by being ‘religious’ a life that does not reflect the life of Christ, this according to the Resident Pastor, Transformation Bible Faith Ministry, Pastor Emmanuel Ohere causes spiritual and material death.

Pastor Emmanuel Ohere, made the call on Saturday in Minna during the wedding thanksgiving service in honour of Christabel Asmau and Daniel Okpole Atori the, Niger State Correspondent of New Telegraph Newspaper, reminding Christians that, ‘God is a jealous God’.

Speaking on the topic, ‘Problem of Mixing the two Covenant’, Pastor Ohere reminded Christians of the dangers in dedicating their lives or anything to the devil that has nothing good to offer them in return than frustration and eternal condemnations.

Pastor Ohere traced confusion and crisis rocking some marriages to mistakes by couples in the choice of spouses who lead them astray to have dual allegiance to God and ‘unknown gods’, this according to him always end in life of eternal regrets.

The Pastor who took his reading from different portions of the Bible however cautioned that, “Life of religiousness is very deadly and dangerous, it make Christians believe in tradition which does not reflect Christ which is fast creeping into present day Pentecostal churches”.

He enjoined the new couple to hold un to each other as enshrined in the bond of marriage, avoid life of lukewarm as Christians and as well, prove that they are true children of God by trusting and holding unto God at all times and in moments of marital tribulations.
