Six suspected kidnappers, armed to the teeth, abducted three farm managers at Pampo community in Asa local government area of Kwara state.

Our correspondent gathered that the incident happened at commercial poultry farms belonging to the victims at about 4:00 p.m on Monday in the agricultural farm community at Eyenkorin Afon Ogele road in the local government area.

The Reporters further gathered that the suspected, dressed in Army uniform, shot into the air when they arrived in Hilux vehicle at one of the two farms they operated.

The suspected kidnappers were said to have held the chief security officer of the farm and locked him inside one room before taking away the two farm workers in the first farm.

A source, who claimed to be the owner of the second farm, called Mirola farm, said that the bandits also abducted his farm manager when they visited his farm on their way out of the community.

The farm owner, who said that the suspects had contacted the farm owners before kidnapping took place, added that they demanded N45 million for the three people abducted, adding the victims comprised of two males and a female.

The farm manager said:””On Monday at about 4:30p.m, six suspected kidnappers in Army uniform heavily armed with AK 47 rifles abducted three farm managers in our farms

“They took two farm managers and on their way out of the first farm, they branched to my farm to take my own farm manager too, making three people kidnapped. Two males and one female.”

He said that the matter had been reported to police, adding that the Police Intelligence had discovered that the suspected kidnappers were still around a location in Lasoju community in the local government area of the state.

“We have been contacted by them. “They demanded N15 million each for the kidnapped people, making a sum of N45million. We begged them to take N1million for the three people, explaining that we’re poor farmers. “They said we should go and get good money before the release of our people.”

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Police command in the state SP, Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed the incident, said that the Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Bagega, had drafted officers and men of the command to the incident toward the eventual release of the victims.
