Awka stands still as supporters host welcome reception for Ezeemo.

The City of Awka, Anambra State, was on Wednesday thrown into agog as the PDP frontline aspirant for Anambra Governorship under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Mr Godwin Ezeemo was hosted to a welcome reception at his party office located at Udoka estate.

 

The welcome reception was to consolidate and thank God for the save return of the people’s most wanted governor back to the state, having being out of the state for a time on an important engagement that is positioned to ensure the sustainance and installment of good Governance in Anambra State, come November 6th.

The welcome reception attracted countless number of Ezeemo support groups and lots of media practitioners who came to acknowledge and engage in with the renown Umuchu born industrialist.

Addressing the large crowd that turned out to welcome him, Mr Godwin Ezeemo stressed that his priority was built on the move to make Anambra the number one state in all ramifications of development in Nigeria.

“I have experienced every sector of life and living and I am more than certain that I am at that level when I must bring home the sort of development Anambra deserves,”he told the people of Anambra state.

He reminded the people of his unrelenting commitment in the journey till Anambra State becomes what it should be. Mr Ezeemo emphatically stated that he would not, at at point in time, compromise on his standard of decent politics.

“I am particularly concerned with what I can do in Anambra, not on the basics of zoning or any other factors.My experience over the years in contesting for this same position serves as a high cultivation of understanding on what Anambrarians actually want from the state governor

“The number of persons coming out for Governorship does not imply on any negative tone other than a prove of the calibre of high profile personalities the state pride on,” he noted

The Reporters, an online media platform gathered that the consensus opinion in the state is that, Mr Godwin Ezeemo remains the best bet Anambra State can bak on to revive the lost and dying stride of development which the state last witnessed under His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi.

Highlight of the reception was testimonies and sharing of ideas on how the project of getting Anambra working again, through Mr Godwin Ezeemo, will be a reality.
