3rd Degree Burns: Woman Cries For Assistance,needs #700, 000 For Operation.

A house wife, Mrs. Comfort Ajayi of Ajara quarters in Lokoja, kogi state capital, who was last week involved in a fire acciden and sustained third degree burns, has cried out for financial assistance from spirited individuals and corporate bodies in and outside the state to undergo urgent operation.

 

The Reporters gathered that the woman was involved in fire outbreak caused by a midnight electricity surge following the return of light which led to the fire outbreak and burnt parts of her body.

Our correspondent further learnt that While her husband, Mr Femi, a rewire, popularly known as “Highman”and her children escaped the raging fire unhurt, Comfort was not so lucky as she was engulfed by the inferno while securing the safety of her child she thought was trapped in the fire.

Sources said though Comfort initially ran out of the house as well,she suddenly discovered that one of her children could not be accounted for, and therefore surmoned the courage to run back to the fire raging house in search of the child.

It was at this stage that she was trapped by the fire and got many of body burnt.

Reeling in pains, Comfort is now in critical condition at the Federal Medical Centre, lokoja where she is receiving treatment but doctors said she required financial assistance of up to N700,000 from the public for her undergo operation.

Members of the public are advised to heed to the clarion call to help Comfort with financial assistance, to enable her undergo the operation and get well.
