Propagate word of God to ensure peaceful world, Primate, Church of Nigeria urges board

The Primate of the Church of Nigeria,Anglican Communion, The Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba has called on the new reviewed membership of the board of Advent Cable Network Nigeria Tv to be “Herald agent” in propagating the word of God to bring peace in the world and reconcile man with God through undiluted programmes and word of God to the public.

Ndukuba made the call during the inauguration of the reviewed memembrs of the ACNN Board in Abuja on Thursday.

He also charged the 12-man membership of the board to promote the gospel of God through quality programmes and factual news content of happenings across the country and around the world.

The cleric further urged the members to see themselves as agents to promote evangelism and draw souls unto God’s kingdom as well as to give out sound teaching, undiluted to draw men unto God and make public know their responsiblity to God and Man.

The primate also urged the members to educate the public on the right attitude and their true respobsiblity to nation and world around,using God’s standard as a guide in order to achieve a sane society under direction of God.

He spoke to the members drawing reference from the Bible in the Book of Romans 10 verses 14-16.”You are been sent to go and preach the word to the world,asking them to be people of goodwill who would live at peace with each other and make peace between God and men and the world around men”he said.

Mr Folusho Olamiti, the Chairman of the board, assured the primate that the board would do its best to actualise the goal in winning souls to the kingdom of God through a rich and balanced programmes and quality news content that would build lives of the viewers.

This he said would be done spiritually to make them patriotic citizens of the country and good ambassadors anywhere they reside.
He assured the members would be a committed members as a good tool to achieve the aspirations of the primate.

He called on members to imbibe the culture of good team spirit and oneness to achieve greater height.

Other members of the board are: Rt.Rev. Blessing Enyinda Vice Chairman, Ven. Hassan John ,Director for Communication and Secretary,Mrs Ritmwa Iwoh Assistant Secretary, Mr Korede Akintunde General Manager,
Rt. Rev. Dr.Chidi Oparaojiaku, Ven. Dade Sadare, Dr Peter Nmadu, Mr Timothy Akinyeye,Mrs Joy Mbachi, Mrs Bisi Amagada and Mr Olarewaju Lasisi.

The members assured of their total loyalty to the work of God, to promote the gospel through quality disemination of the word and building a sound society through its standard contents.

Mbachi,who said that she would do her best to be a good agent in her Awka Diocese and enjoined the team to promote gospel.

Mbachi said that she was grateful to have been called by the Bishop of Awka and Archbishops of the Province of the Niger,His Grace,Most Rev Alexander Ibezim to be part of the board.

She said that the confidence shown in her would be not be toyed with, promising that she would follow the footprint of the wife of the Bishop and Archbishop of her diocese,Mama Awka,Mama Province, Mrs Martha Ibezim.

She said that the new appointment would be a continuation of soul winning programme, initiated by Ibezim in the women ministry of the diocese.
