Kidnappers receive N2m ransom in Niger,”honour” victims with N60,000

Apprehension and sadness of the people of Avu village in Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State,occasio occ by incessant Kidnapping recently turned to joy as their kidnapped brothers returned home with N10,000 each to show for the ordeal they went through in the hands of their tormentors.

The Reporters gathered that the money was given to them, by the Kidnappers,to enable them purchase slippers.

The online publication further reports that the money is part of the ransom of about N2 million the families of the kidnapped victims paid to the Kidnappers to secure the freedom of their loved ones.

Reliable sources also told The Reporters that the kidnappers were so “merciful” to have accompany the victims back to their village to the waiting hands of jubilant families, friends, and well-wishers who Wellcome their loved ones home with dances,alive, hail, hearty and healthy.

The Reporters recalls that the six persons were kidnapped last week as gunmen invaded the Avu community, where one person was said to have been lost his life.
