He is not a nanny or an actor.

By Correspondent in Maiduguri

Don’t mistake him for a nanny but a Nigerian Soldier who stayed back to help a pregnant woman put to bed in the Northeast when the Boko Haram were closing in on their village.

He risked his life to secure the woman till she put to bed.

In appreciating this uncommon magnanimity, the woman volunteered to name the baby boy after him (Ebuka) but he advised her to give the baby boy a Muslim name, adding she’s a Muslim and a Northerner.

The baby was therefore, ABUKAR which means EBUKA.

For this singular act of compassionate behaviour, even in critical period between life and death,we celebrate Ebuka Nwabueze and all our gallant men as well as women who put their lives online for our safety.
