ASUU Suspends 9 Month-Old Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Wednesday, called off its nine-month old strike, ending a protracted industrial action that started since March 2020.

ASUU National President,Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, who made the announcement during a briefing of the union in Abuja, explained that the development followed consultations with its National Executive Council (NEC).

There is no specific date the students will resume academic activities, as at the time of this report.
