Improved security in Okene LGA assured—Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad promises

The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Okene Local Government Area of kogi state, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad, has assured the people of the area of his avowed determination to ensure improved security of lives and property, if elected.

A correspondent of the Reporters, an online publication, reports that Muhammad’s promise is coming as the people of the state, especially the electorate and other stakeholders in electioneering process, have a date with December 12 for a free, fair and credible council poll.

The candidate made the promise at Abuga/Ozuja word in Okengwe district of the local government during a mega rally organised by the party faithful, to drum support for the ward’s councilorship candidate, Hajia Bilikisu Aliyu Onumoko.

He also promised the people that his administration would work hard to initiate more projects that would greatly improve the social and economic development of the local government area.

Muhammad, a former council administrator, eulogised the unique leadership qualities of Bilikisu and praised the Governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello,for making 35 per cent affirmation action for women a reality in the state.

Muhammad also lauded party leaders in the area for the choice of Bililisu, a woman he described as a grassroots woman mobiliser and a member of the state executive of the party.

The chairmanship candidate,who thanked the people of the word for their show of strength during the last governorship election, enjoined party supporters and electorate to come enmasse to vote for him on the election day.
