Lokoja in 12- hour black out

Lokoja, kogi state capital and its environs have been thrown into black out of over 12 hours,The Reporters, an online publication reports.

The reason for the development which started Tuesday afternoon, could not be ascertained as at the time of this report at about 8 a.m on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, peace has returned to area after the uproar that greeted the distrbution of palliatives to people, three days ago.

Our Correspondent recalls that While the two-day pandominum lasted, a journalist,Mr Emmanuel Adeyemi of the Sun newspaper in Lokoja sustained injuries he received gun shot from stray bullet.

Some lives were also said to have been lost during the uneasy calm in the town over the distrbution of palliatives.
