Four days after more than 20 lives were perished in an autocrash/tanker explosion along Felele highway in Lokoja, kogi state and flood threatens, a multi-million naira electronic store in the town, PEELINKS ELECTRONIKS, has been razed by fire, The Reporters, an online publication reports.

Our correspondent who visited the scene of the disaster, around FEN junction on Saturday gathered that the fire was caused by electrical fault from the top section of the storey building.

An eyewitness at the scene told our correspondent that there was a spark in one of the sockets of the building at at 11 p.m on Friday, adding that all efforts by the owner and few other sympathisers to stop the inferno provided.

Our correspondent reports that there is hardly electronic material one cannot get to buy in the store, being the foremost of its kind in kogi state.

The building was burnt completely with goods worth millions of naira perished.

Efforts by our correspondent to get the reaction of the proprietor of the store, simply called Peter, proved abortive but no loss of life in the latest fire incident.

However, some sympathisers who spoke with The Reporters at the scene called on clerics of the two predominant religions in the state to intensify prayer, for God to safe Lokoja and the state at large from further tragedy.
