As a blind person, the way I am able to operate my laptop and phone is with the help of screen-reader. This morning, as I was typing the message to post on the platform, the screen-reader suddenly stopped working. I decided what I should do was to shutdown the laptop and restart. I pressed on the shutdown button and waited for a long time but the laptop did not shutdown. I then called a seeing person to check what was wrong.
The laptop had been showing that there were programmes that were preventing the system from shutting down. I needed to cancel the operation and close those programmes before the system could shutdown.
Computer functions are fashioned after the way human mind works. Sometimes we want our bodies to obey certain commands. We want to perform a duty and the body just would not be in tune. We want to forget the way we have been coming and restart the journey but we are finding it hard. This means there are programmes at the background of our thoughts that need to close in order to shut things down and restart.
If you try and cannot help yourself, invite persons that are better experienced. Seek the help of professional counselors, spiritual persons and so on. Do not let this day pass without checking what is stopping your body system from obeying your command.
