Kidnapping: Chuks Supermarket loses boss

Mr Nicholas Ofodile,the owner of a popular business enterprise, Chucks supermarket, in Lokoja kogi state and one other person,have lost their lives during an attak by kidnappers at Gegu in Kogi Local Government Area of the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO) for the Police Command in the state, DSP Williams Aya, who confirmed the incident said two persons lost their lives in the incident.

He said that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Ayuba Ede, had drafted some armed security men to the area adding that thooug, the police were yet to get details of the incident.

Duaglobalnews also gathered that Ofodile and one other victim whose identify could not be ascertained at the time of this report,met their death on Lokoja-Abuja road at Gegu, a surbub of lokoja when kidnappers attacked a passenger of an Abuja bound Luxury bus in the early hours of Tuesday.

Ofodile and another person who were said to be traveling in another car ran into the kidnappers at the scene.

Duaglobalnews recalls that eight police personnel also lost their lives in the state, last week when armed robbers attacked the Isanlu branch of a first generation of bank in the country.

The later development prompted the Inspector-General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, to raise a special security team to fish out the perpetrators of the henious crime for justice to take its cause.
