COVID-19:Latest figure in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 386 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, in Nigeria.

According to a tweet via its official Twitter handle late Friday night, 10 new deaths were also recorded.

176 cases were reported in Lagos, 65 in Kano, 31 in Katsina, 20 in FCT, 17 in Borno, 15 in Bauchi, 14 in Nasarawa, 13 in Ogun and 10 in Plateau.

4 new cases each were also reported in Oyo, Sokoto & Rivers, 3 in Kaduna, 2 each in Edo & Ebonyi and 1 each in Enugu, Imo, Gombe & Osun.

78 patients were also discharged on Friday after recovering from the disease.

No new state recorded a COVID-19 case. There are now 3912 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 34 states and the FCT.

So far, 679 patients have been discharged and a total of 117 deaths have been recorded.
