Katsina

Katsina state workers resumed duty on Monday after the two weeks stay at home order by the state to prevent possible spread of the pandemic Coronavrus in the state.

The state’s Head of Service, Alhaji Idris Tune, in a statement made available to journalists on Sunday in Katsina, said workers would be providing skeletal services from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. daily.

He said that the new arrangement would be on for one week.

Tune said that all public and private institutions, including tertiary, secondary and primary schools would, however, remain closed till further notice.

He urged the workers to continue to observe social distancing, consistent washing of hands and application of sanitisers among other measures by health experts to prevent possible spread of COVID-19 in the state.
