Bello eulogises former Governor Idris at 71

The Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has described former governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as a man of mmense and remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the state.

Bello said this in a statement to facilitated with the former Governor on his 71st birthday anniversary celebration.

The statement was signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwi Mohammed in Lokoja on Monday.

The governor said: ”On behalf of the Government and the good people of Kogi State, I say congratulation as you add another glorious year to your fruitful age today, we celebrate you.

”On this unique day, we want to appreciate you for your immense and remarkable contributions to the growth and development of our dear State.

“I thank the Almighty Allah for your life.

“We pray Allah will continue to uplift you even as you continue to give your elderly counsel to this generation based on your wealth of political knowledge and experience because, I do know that you do everything with a clear conscience.

”I pray for you, that as your days are, so shall your strength be.”

Bello also described Idris as a man of generous heart, political astuteness and uncommon intellect.

He lauded the former governor for his impact socioeconomic and political developments of the state and his unprecedented achievements in the business world.

Governor Bello prayed Almighty Allah to continue to use Idris to accomplish greater things in the years ahead, in sound health and peace of mind.
