Explosion hits Ado-Ekiti, Fayemi assesses development

Ado-Ekiti

Explosive Ordinance Device (EOD hit Ado-,Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital, causing panic atmosphere among residents in the area on Saturday.

Duaglobalnews gathered that the explosion occurred at the EOD office of the Nigeria of Ado- Ekiti Police Headquarters located on the Old Governor’s Road of the state capital.

The Governor of the state,Dr Kayode Fayemi and some top government functionaries have visited the scene of the incident for spot assessment.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Amba Asuquo, traced the explosion to some bomb detection devices kept in the area which he noted might have exploded by a technical occurrence.

  1. No casualty recorded in the development except its bang which caused panic at areas where it was experienced.
